Window shopping in OC and ION

Spend a day window shopping in orchard is rather a luxury experience. There is so much to see... ooops... sounded like an advert :P

I like OC better. The building structure is very unique. The shops makes me feel like as if I am in Shinjuku, Japan. In particularly of one of the level, where the walls are made of recycled machinery etc. Its like the Lumina Departmental stores in Shinjuku station.

Look at the space! The feel of emptiness in a shopping complex is great!
Best part is we have Ootayo (Japanese resturant) there... oh... my fave japanese food chain in Japan is here. Happy!

Its so difficult to find a good short get away place....

Its been half a year since we go for a good holiday. 想想。。。last year this time, we were at Nagano, enjoying the great autumn temperature and red, yellow golden leaves... oh... how I miss the place...

Yes, this time we want to go for short trip... but end up, cannot decide where to go. Bintan, Sabah, Hong Kong etc are all in our 'want' list. Quite a big selection. I think its the cost does not justify for the 4 or 5 days vocation. We deem it 'bo hua' (hokkian). After talking to a few clients, they too, have the same feel... even commented going short trip nowadays is expensive.

So in the end, we decided to take vocation in Singapore instead. After doing our calculation, it will definitely only cost us less than S$300 for a good deals!

And the advantage roam in Singapore beginnings...from orchard...!
