Barley with soy skin Dessert - Ganbate!

This weekend is meant for cooking dessert.

Yes! after 2nd attempt, the dessert is successfully made and i am now enjoying the fruits with my family :>
Rating given: 8 / 10

Lesson learnt:
- Sequence is very important
Soy skin, pandan leaf, barley & ginko seed. Barley suppose to be more difficult to get cook - WRONG! Soy skin need more time to get soften!

- ingredients
I think the soy skin quality is not so good. The search should continue.

Oh yes, this dessert is good for skin. Nevertheless, do not add too much sugar so that it can be a healthy dessert!

2 weeks later i will try again... Ganbate ne!!!

Cheers :>

Whats best in Taiwan - to be a couch potato :P

Went to taiwan for a week of oversea assignment, realised that nothing beats their so interesting TV programs.

Now the most popular show is some ' 大闷锅' variety show which is really hillarious... mainly talking abt politics and history of Taiwan in a funny manner. It was highly recommended by my taiwan friend!

I also saw my fave '小猪' show...

So its everyday, lots of Starbuck kopi (tall somemore)and '珍珠奶茶' (very milky and not sweet like those in Singapore)... was provided with a drum stick, super nice but extremely oily! Thats why, I took only half and pass the 'sin' to my other team mate.

Currently running detox program now. With all those, its 'zip' off from good food for 2weeks.

Cheers!

After feasting... ....

After a month of feasting on pineapple tarts and all the lovely peanuts cookies, I realise that the waist line is catching up with the time line...hahahah...

Recently a few clients have joint me in the healthy lifestyle program. I am glad that they took up not only for the waist line. Come on, waist line is, seriously not everything!
Health comes 1st before anything.

I am a strong believer of this:
With good health, you can do everything you want and earn the monetary rewards that you want - that's perfection in life!

Great Wealth without Health = Nothing. - think about it again.
I saw this from an entertainment segment. One actress (in her 50s) actually mention that she is now spending a big bulk of her wealth to compensate her health condition that she forget to take care when she is younger.
I don't want to be like that :P

Jia you! Gan ba te to healthier body and beautiful people :D

Valentine's Day - the budget way

Love is in the air again......

I do not know why, whenever Valentine's Day, i will 'smell' romance and love in the air. Hee... should be the people around us that contribute to it.

As usual, we go to the same spot for celebration. People ask us if we are bored of the same way of celebration. Hmmm... no as the people we see in couples are always different :)

Our spot seems to be getting popular.
On this day, we always see lots of couples... usually much much more than what we will see! All the lovely dovely couples...
There are a few couples around us, doing the budget way of celebration like us :)
One of them actually prepare steak over a satay griller (amazing!) They have nice cultery with them and eat gracefully. Quite wow to me... Ant was joking that beef is the best as even if not so cook, can still be eaten :P

Suddenly I keep feeling 'flashes' at one corner of my eye...
Oh, this gal has a big bouquet... hee... straight away come to my mind.. " oh, you 2 1st Valentine's day ar?"

Of course, there are also people whom really DIY... bring own pinic tables, food, cultery and wine. I overhead this couple... the guy shout out loud: " Opps no candle!!! " then both laugh very loud... So from a distance, I see them eat in the dark... actually quite worry for them, so dark! What if extra 'ingredients' add to their food.... :P Blessed...

All and all, its a fun celebration with lots of sea breeze and wave.

*LOVE*
